Party Poker review

At one point in the history of online poker, Party Poker was the biggest online poker site in the world. One of the hardest hits sites by the 2006 UIGEA, it lost a huge percentage of its player base though, and it was relegated to a second-tier site, far behind front runners, Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars.
Party Poker has recently overhauled its software and it hired professional player Tony G to represent the brand in various live events. The site has been negotiating with the US Department of Justice for quite a while now, regarding a possible return to the US market.

Despite the hit taken from the UIGEA, Party Poker still retains quite a large following, especially among European players.
The Party Poker software is an in-house creation and the basis of a small poker network that Party poker is slowly building.
After a major overhaul which saw its aging software scrapped about a year and a half ago, Party Poker can now boast one of the best online poker software packages in the world. Fully equipped for multi tabling, featuring exhaustive statistics and an easy to navigate menu, the Party Poker software is truly one of the best the industry has to offer.

The Party Poker bonus is not as generous as one may expect it to be. It consists of a 100% match on player deposits, up to $500. The bonus is released in 10 installments as players earn poker points through real money play.
Party Poker features a plethora of other promotions, including freerolls, qualifier to live events and high guaranteed prize-pool MTTs.
